How your tier's license key works, how MT4/MT5 activation slots are counted, and what to do when you hit your limit.
You get one license key per tier, not one per tool. That single key unlocks every paid tool included in your tier — risk EAs, the trade copier, everything — across both MT4 and MT5. Paste it into any tool's input field and the tool verifies it on load.
Find your key anytime in Dashboard → My Tools. It's masked by default (`EAVIC-••••-••••-••••-••••`) — click to reveal it, or use the copy button. Treat it like a password: it's tied to your account and isn't meant to be shared.
Sharing or reselling your key violates the License Agreement and can get it revoked. One key, one member.
An activation is a single MetaTrader account bound to your key. The first time a tool on a given account verifies your key, that account takes up one activation slot. After that, the same account can keep verifying against the same key for free — it doesn't cost another slot. A new *account number* is what consumes a fresh slot.
Your Dashboard → My Tools page shows this as `Activations: X / Y accounts`, with a list of every account currently bound to your key (account number and platform).
Every tier has a base number of simultaneous MT4/MT5 activations included, and it scales up with the tier — see the Pricing FAQ for the exact current numbers per plan. Upgrading tiers (e.g. Pro to Hedge) raises your limit automatically; there's no separate step to unlock the higher cap.
If you try to activate your key on a new account and you're already at your limit, the tool refuses to activate — it isn't a soft warning, it's a hard stop until you free up a slot.
You have two options:
Demo accounts count as activations too. If you're testing on a demo before going live, deactivate it once you've moved to your real account so you don't burn a slot unnecessarily.
Hedge is the only tier that can purchase activation slots beyond its base limit. From Dashboard → My Tools, a Buy 5 more button lets you add a pack of 5 extra activations to your license for a one-off payment, on top of your included limit. This is capped at one pack per license — if you try to buy a second pack after already reaching the cap, the purchase is rejected rather than the button disappearing, so don't be surprised if it's still visible; if you need more than one pack, get in touch with support.
Extra activations are permanent additions to that license — they don't expire or reset, and they stack with your base tier limit for as long as your license stays active.
If your subscription lapses, your license key gets a 48-hour grace period before tools stop verifying against it. Renew before that window closes to avoid any interruption on your bound accounts.
