How the 7-day free trial works, when you're actually charged, how to cancel or upgrade your plan, and where to find the full refund policy.
Every paid plan — Starter, Pro, and Hedge — starts with a 7-day free trial when you subscribe.
Cancelling any time before day 7 means $0 is ever charged to your card — you don't need to time it to a specific hour, just before the trial ends.
Cancel anytime from Account → Settings → Subscriptions in the dashboard sidebar. The Manage billing & cancel button opens Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can cancel, update your payment method, or pull up past invoices.
Go to Account → Settings → Subscriptions and choose Upgrade plan, or pick Hedge directly from the pricing page. Since you're already an active subscriber, the switch is prorated automatically: you're billed the price difference for whatever remains of your current cycle rather than a fresh full-price charge, and your next renewal bills at Hedge's normal rate going forward.
The summary version:
Mid-cycle cancellations aren't refunded on a pro-rated basis — plan the timing of a cancellation around your renewal date if that matters to you.
