Setting up the Telegram & Discord signal copier

Connect a Telegram or Discord channel you already follow, let the AI read and classify every call, and route it straight into your MT4, MT5, or cTrader account.

What this connects

The signal copier doesn't generate trade calls — it reads a Telegram or Discord channel you already follow and mirrors what gets posted there into a trading account you connect. You bring the source, TradinSolutions handles classification, parsing, sizing, and execution.

Everything below happens from Cockpit → Create Instance.

Step 1 — Connect your Telegram or Discord account

Pick Telegram channel or Discord channel as the source type. If you don't have an active session yet, you'll be walked through connecting one:

  • Telegram — enter your phone number, then the login code Telegram sends you. If your account has two-factor authentication on, you'll be asked for that password too.
  • Discord — paste your account's user token.

Automating a personal Telegram or Discord account is against those platforms' terms of service. You're accepting that risk by connecting a session — use an account you're comfortable with.

Step 2 — Pick the channel to monitor

Once the session is active, TradinSolutions pulls the list of channels/dialogs visible to that account. Search or scroll to find the one you want, and select it. This is the channel that gets watched going forward — nothing is copied retroactively.

Step 3 — What the AI does with each message

Every message posted in the channel — text, an image, or both — is read and sorted into one of five categories:

  • SIGNAL — a new trade call with a symbol and direction
  • UPDATE — an instruction on an existing trade (move stop to breakeven, take partial, close)
  • ANALYSIS — commentary with nothing actionable
  • ADMIN — greetings, promos, results screenshots, links
  • NOISE — everything else

Only SIGNAL and UPDATE messages get acted on. Two things worth expecting:

  1. 01Image-only signals still work. If a call is posted as a chart screenshot or annotated image with no caption, the AI reads the symbol, side, entry, stop, and targets directly off the image — it isn't limited to parsing text.
  2. 02An entry price is treated as a reference, not an instruction, by default. Most channels post an "Entry" level that just describes roughly where price is — the copier fills that as a market order unless the message clearly says otherwise ("buy limit," "wait for," "on retest," etc.).

If you turn on the AI trade manager, it also acts on plain-language UPDATE messages after entry — moving a stop, closing a partial, or closing the trade — matched against your open positions from that channel. Turn it off and updates are ignored; your preset SL/TP and risk rules are all that manage the trade.

A Parser mode setting (rules-first-with-AI-fallback / rules-only / AI-only) is visible in the destination settings, but every message is currently read by the AI regardless of which one you pick — there's no separate rules-based parser live yet, so all three options behave the same today.

Step 4 — Map the channel to a destination account

In the next step, choose the account(s) the signal should execute on — reuse an account you've already connected, or connect a new one. A single channel can fan out to more than one destination account in the same setup; just add another destination card.

Each destination gets its own settings pass, covering:

  • Sizing — risk % by stop distance, or a fixed lot size
  • Entry mode — one entry, or split across the signal's take-profit levels
  • Filters — a symbol whitelist, a trading-session window, a duplicate-signal window, and an optional pause around high-impact news
  • Risk breakers — max trades per day, max daily loss in dollars, and a drawdown pause threshold

Review the settings, then activate. The channel starts being watched immediately.

Alternative source: TradingView webhook

If your signal source is a TradingView alert instead of a chat channel, pick TradingView alert as the source type. There's no login to connect — name the setup, choose a destination, and activation hands you a unique webhook URL. In TradingView, open the alert's Notifications tab, tick Webhook URL and paste the URL there. The alert's Message box takes the JSON body:

json
{"symbol":"{{ticker}}","side":"buy","entry":{{close}},"sl":2375,"tp":[2390,2400]}

`sl` and `tp` are optional. Because the alert already arrives as structured JSON, there's no AI classification step for this path — it executes directly against your risk and sizing settings.

How many channels and sessions you can connect at once depends on your plan. If an option is greyed out in the wizard, that's why.
